How to Order Custom Pieces
At Elegant Glass Designs, we make the process of ordering your unique custom stained glass or framed puzzle a seamless and enjoyable experience. Follow these simple steps to bring your vision to life.
Ordering Process
We've outlined our straightforward ordering process to ensure you know exactly what to expect from initial contact to the final delivery of your custom piece.
1. Reach out
Contact us directly through email and briefly describe what you are looking for—stained glass or framed puzzle, approximate size, subject (for example, wildlife, landscape, or something personal), and any deadline you have in mind.
2. Share inspiration
From there, We will ask a few focused questions and invite you to share any reference images, colors you love, or photos of the space where the piece will live. For custom stained glass, We will also ask about light conditions (window, wall-hanging with backlighting, etc.). For framed puzzles, we will confirm whether you want one of our existing designs or a custom image.
3. Receive a concept + quote
Once we understand the vision, we will propose one or two concept directions, along with:
- Estimated size and format (dimensions, orientation, framing style)
- Materials (glass types, framing, hanging hardware)
- Timeline (design time plus production time)
- Price range and shipping estimate
At this stage, the customer can ask questions or request small adjustments. When you are happy with the direction, we will provide a clear quote.
4. Secure the project
A 25% deposit books your spot and allows us to begin detailed design work.
5. Approve the design
We send a finalized mockup for review. Once approved, we begin crafting the piece.
Payment Methods
We currently accept e-transfers. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance is due in full upon completion of your piece, prior to shipping.
Timelines and Updates
Projects typically take a minimum of 4 weeks to complete. You can expect regular updates via email or phone throughout the creation process. Once your piece is complete, we will send you photos via email for your final approval. After payment is received, we will ship your order promptly.
